With our friends, Mat and Terri, we were able to get the eight of us from the beach over to Celestún to see the flamingos!

On our way back, we cruised around the nesting island.

We were able to encourage tour guide to make a dramatic entry into the mangroves!

 

After our exciting entrance, we made a short tour through the mangroves and stopped at the cenote for a walkabout!

After the tour, we parked in downtown Celestún and went for some lunch at the beach!

The next day, we had a few folks over to say goodbyes to Dave and Deb!

And no stay would be complete without a massage at the beach!
