It’s hard to imagine, but it’s taken a week of doing nothing to get the energy to start a little Uaymitun blog. It’ll not be comprenshive in pictures, but just a couple to tweak the memories. It will have some lessons learned and tips & tricks for the next visit.
Hint of the Day: looking for lighter fluid for the BBQ, ask for “Gas morado” or purple gas.
It’s true… what a difference a day makes! After a very mild winter, the day before we left to Uaymitun, we got 6″ of snow with 50 km/hr winds in Sarnia.

After our Sunday travel day… Bill and I are making Corona commercials!

While the rental website called our place “Casa Cucos”, it’s real name is “Chuhuc Ha”, which is Mayan for Sweet Water.

The entrance from the highway!

The Bougainvillea was beautiful!

I’ll blog some more when the mood strikes!
